Introduction of the Pendulum Feeder

The pendulum feeder is used in the mineral separation, coal, chemical industry and other departments, which sends the granular materials to various types of receiving devices from the material storage tank through a funnel. The pendulum feeder is not suitable for conveying dry powder or materials with too big granularity; otherwise there will be dust pollution and blocking phenomenon in the discharging hole.

Working Principle

The working principle of the pendulum feeder is as follows:

1. The electromotor reduces its speed by using the triangle belt reducer. After slowing down, the power is transmitted to the eccentric with the adjustable eccentricity.

2. Then the eccentric drives the base plate to swing through a connecting rod. At this same time, ores remaining in the ore bin on top of the feeding machine pass through the feeder’s inner chamber and get out of the feeder over and over again at a constant speed from the discharging hole, thus making sure that the ball mill will feed materials evenly.

3. We can adjust the feeding capacity by changing the swing distance to realize a larger feeding volume. As for more accurate regulation of the feeding capacity, we can adjust the height of the discharging gate segment and the size of the discharging hole.
