Applications of gyratory crusher

Gyratory crusher is commonly used for secondary crushing of ores and rocks with medium hardness in sand production line or ore dressing production line. Gyratory crusher has wide application in metal and nonmetal mines, cement, gravel, building materials, metallurgy and other industries, such as ore, granite, limestone, quartzite, sandstone pebbles, etc. Gyratory crusher uses the gyration of crushing cone in conical cavity, to extrude, split and bend materials.

Working principle of gyratory crusher

The upper end of main spindle with crushing cone is installed in the middle of the bush, and its lower end is placed in the hole of eccentric sleeve. When the sleeve rotates, crushing cone does rotating movement around the machine centerline, and its crushing action is carried out continuously, so the working efficiency of gyratory crusher is higher than jaw crusher.

Installation of gyratory crusher

Gyratory crusher is heavy machinery equipment, so its installation needs lifting machinery. Pouring base of concrete before installing is required, because unsteady base will increase the risk of the equipment, such as cornering and collapsing. The rack of gyratory crusher is composed of engine base, central frame and beams, fastened with bolts. The base is mounted on a reinforced concrete foundation.
